Ad Astra Kansas Day
Kansans have long had January 29 to celebrate the past. Ad Astra Kansas Day was initiated in 2003 to look towards the future. Its aim is to promote public awareness of the importance of science and technology to Kansas' growth, to credit scientific achievement and to inform the public of outstanding work being done in Kansas.
